This service is for a company whose spreadsheets, messages or generic software no longer provide a dependable overview. It may be a salon handling appointments, a service company managing work orders, a retailer tracking stock or a team moving orders between several roles.

I first document who performs each step, which data is created and what each status means. I then design the screens, rules, user roles, search, reports and required outputs such as documents or notifications.

Authentication, backups, access rights and records of important changes enter the technical scope according to the sensitivity of the system.

The aim is not to move the existing confusion onto a screen. We remove duplicate entry, ambiguous statuses and dependence on one person’s memory. Each user sees the actions and data needed for the next step.

Work begins with a map of the most important workflow. I create a trial slice using realistic but safe data, test it with the people who will use it and only then expand the system. Delivery covers permissions, errors, empty states, mobile use and data recovery to the agreed scope.

The number of roles, complexity of rules, existing data, migration, documents, integrations and required availability have the greatest impact on scope. The proposal separates the first useful release from possible later phases so the system does not become unnecessarily large before it is used.
