Bespoke service
A redesign that improves structure, content and operation.
I do not discard an existing website before finding out what already works. Valuable URLs, content and data remain; the parts that obstruct understanding, maintenance and growth are rebuilt.

When redesign is the right choice
A redesign makes sense when the website no longer reflects the offer, is difficult to use on a phone, takes too long to update or has become costly to maintain. Another clear signal is new services and content that the old navigation cannot accommodate.
What it covers
Before design, I inventory active pages, incoming links, content, forms, analytics and technical dependencies. That inventory informs the new page map, components, templates and migration plan. Every legacy URL receives a documented outcome.
The problem we solve
A surface refresh can create a better-looking first screen while preserving unclear journeys and technical debt. The redesign therefore connects content decisions, user journeys and technical replacement in one plan.
How I work
I first record the baseline and comparison measures. Key pages then receive a trial design for desktop and mobile. After approval, I build the shared system, migrate the content and verify redirects, forms, accessibility and indexing before launch.
What shapes the proposal
The number of existing URLs, quality and volume of content, custom functions, languages and migration complexity have the greatest effect on scope. The proposal clearly separates what is retained, revised and rebuilt.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will old URLs stop working?
Not without a documented decision. Every important URL is retained or permanently redirected to the closest relevant page.
Can the existing content remain?
Yes, where it is accurate and useful. I reorganise it for the new structure and verify outdated claims before carrying them over.
Does the website need to go offline during the change?
The new version is usually prepared separately and the switch is planned as a short, controlled change. The exact procedure depends on hosting and functionality.
How is the result verified?
Beyond visual QA, I check key user journeys, technical errors, performance, accessibility, indexing and the behaviour of legacy URLs.
